For over the last fifteen years I have managed some of the largest sales teams within the waste sector in Scotland; this has allowed me to harness a management style that caters for all sale types within a group. Identifying and realising the individual’s motivators and drivers allows me to engage in a positive manner which will lead to a more productive and motivated salesperson allowing the person to thrive and achieve their individual and company set goals and targets. Having successful careers in both Hard and Soft Services has allowed me to amass a wealth of expertise across the FM market. Working in the operational side of companies has allowed me to gain a greater insight into understanding the challenges and sometimes conflicts that Sales and Operations experience in the skip hire and waste management industries and therefore the know-how on how to resolve these.

Achievements My expertise is optimising companies’ growth and potential and has resulted in the following: •I was instrumental in convincing one of Scotland’s leading waste companies to move into Mobile Compaction (trade waste). This division is now a multimillion pound business. •I facilitated a well-known Scottish FM company in realising growth from £1m - £10m in a four year period. •I led the sales team who delivered over £12m growth for a well-known Scottish waste company over a 4 year period.
